How To Achieve Hair Growth Fast

Hair growth occurs at a rate of half an inch to approximately a full inch per month. Take note though that this specific number is not definite and could still be improved on. Believe it or not, a lot of people are not growing hair in a fast way which nature intended for hair to grow due to clogged pores. This article will describe the basic steps you can do to make your hair grow quick.

First things first, do apply oil on your hair. You need to massage your scalp using extra virgin coconut oil. Allow the oil to sit on your hair for one hour in order for it to penetrate your scalp. It is best to use luke warm coconut oil. It is best to do this an hour prior to washing your hair using herbal shampoo. If you want to let the oil soak further in your scalp, cover your head with a warm towel.

Calcium is also an effective and consistent method to achieve fast hair growth. Drink calcium-supplemented milk each day. Milk contains amino acids as well as protein which your body needs to attain healthy hair swiftly.

Also, avoid heat at all costs. If you cannot do away with heat on your tresses, ensure that you hold the hair dryer a inches from your hair. Always direct the blow dryer on your hair and not the scalp or roots. The less heat used, it is possible for fast hair growth to occur.

If you can, apply a herbal hair shampoo on your hair and scalp. An effective herbal shampoo contains herbs which could allow fast hair growth. Make sure that the herbal shampoo you apply is enough for your scalp to be stimulated. Do not forget to massage your scalp when using shampoo as this helps blood circulate onto the roots of the hair.

Do not brush or comb your hair when it is wet as it will stretch and break your tresses. Do finger-dry your hair or utilize a comb with a wide teeth instead of a brush. Do not forget that wet hair quickly breaks and causes split ends.

Meditation relaxes away tension and stress thus promoting fast growth. Remember that hair loss is also associated with anxiety. Meditating and doing yoga beats away stress.

Consuming foods that are rich in vitamin B, C and A are also good. These include garlic, inions, carrots, spinach, mint, wheat germ, milk, green beans.

You can also make your very own home-made herbal wash by boiling hibiscus flowers in water. Then, allow it to sit for hours until it cools. Use that hair growth mixture to rinse your hair. Hibiscus halts thinning hair. You could also try herbal oil the best of which is mira hair oil as it contains amla, hibiscus, aloe vera and other kinds of herbs which prevent hair loss. Use it two or three times per week for effective results.

All in all, these methods are proven ways to attain fast and healthy hair. All you need to do is follow these steps so your hair will grow quickly, easily and naturally. Be aware that there is no single regimen that ensures healthy growth. One's diet, lifestyle and type of hair must all be considered when adopting a routine to maintain decent hair. Doing regular exercise similarly stimulates blood flow to the hair as hair follicles are nourished thereby promoting healthy hair. Lack of blood flow to the hair results to brittle and dull tresses. Vitamin B3 is also the core of fast growing hair. Do not be afraid if your hair falls out naturally. Usually, this process occurs in order to make space for new hair. The instance new hair growth starts, the hair will increase to half an inch every month. Feel free to consult a hair care professional if you are taking in oral supplements to stimulate hair growth. Know any side effects these supplements have which could aggravate symptoms of any health condition you might have.

Hair Loss Can Be Due To Various Factors

A Way to Stop Hair Loss

Why do we lose our hair?

Some degree of hair loss is normal and it happens to all men and women every day. After the hair follicle has completed its growth cycle, the hair falls out and the hair becomes dormant for a time. Losing our hair is only a problem when it happens to an excessive degree.

Different patterns of losing hair

Men and women experience hair loss in a different way. Men experience Male Pattern baldness and women experience Female Pattern baldness.

Hair Loss - Male Baldness
In some very rare cases, a viral infection can cause an extreme form of hair loss. In Alopecia universalis, there are no hairs growing anywhere on the body. This condition can affect either men or women.

Male baldness

Usually men experience hair loss in the classic male pattern of baldness. The hair recedes from the top of the head while there is still hair left on the sides and the back. The result resembles a horseshoe. The top of the head becomes totally bald.

The hair may first start to recede at the top of the head or the hairline may gradually withdraw. Many men lose hair at the crown and also have a hairline that recedes at the same time. Usually the hair at the back of the head is the last to disappear.

Hair loss in females

Women generally experience a thinning of the hair all over the entire scalp. Usually some hair will remain on a woman's head so the head is not completely bare, but the hair remaining will be sparse. In some cases, the scalp can easily be seen.

Hair that is lost because of reasons that are related to hormones is usually not reversible whether it occurs in men or women.

Why does hair stop growing?

There are several reasons why hair may stop growing.
  1. In most cases, the culprit is the presence in the scalp of large amounts of a hormone known as DHT or Dihydrotestrostone. This is a byproduct of testosterone, a male hormone. In both men and women, hair growth occurs cyclically with a period of growth followed by dormancy. When the level of DHT in the scalp is high, the dormancy period for hair is longer. Each hair follicle is active for a shorter period of time and it stays dormant for a longer period of time. Eventually it becomes completely dormant and no longer produces hair. In men, although DHT is present throughout the scalp, the hair loss occurs mostly on the top of the head. The hair follicles at the sides and back of the head are not adversely affected by the presence of DHT.
  2. High levels of sebum can also contribute to the loss of hair. Sebum blocks the pores on the scalp and this can cause the hair to be malnourished. Eventually, this can lead to the hair dropping out of the scalp more quickly than it can be replaced. For this reason, it is important to wash the hair frequently to open the pores. This can help the hair follicles to be better nourished.
  3. Poor nutrition can lead to the loss of hair. Avoid crash dieting and eat a diet that contains enough protein and iron. If the diet is improved, the loss of hair may be prevented and reversed if poor nutrition was the reason the hair stopped growing.
  4. Stress and tension due to life problems can also cause hair loss. For this reason it is important for men and women to reduce stress in their lives.

Can hair loss be reversed?

In some cases, losing the hair can be slowed or reversed to some extent. One of the first steps is to have a diet filled with healthy food. Hair is made from a protein called keratin. Men and women need to eat sufficient amounts of protein to have healthy hair. Females need to eat about sixty grams of protein each day in order to have healthy hair. Men will require about ninety grams of protein.
Reversing Hair Loss?
Even if a person has improved their intake of protein, in some cases, the loss of hair cannot be reversed. In these cases, there are other treatments that can help. These include lasers as well as surgical and non-surgical solutions.

There are no miracle cures to reverse the problem of hair loss. A person who starts to use a remedy to regrow hair will need to be patient. The reason is that the dormant period of hair follicles can last three months. It will take time and knowledge to learn how to stop hair loss. Any remedy that is tried will need to be used for several months before a difference is noticed.
